The U.S. Attorney's Office confirmed that Xiao Meng Ma of Anaheim has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute more than 100 kilograms of marijuana. Ma was arrested after authorities discovered the marijuana during a traffic stop in Montana in June of this year.

U.S. attorneys allege Ma and a co-defendant were stopped for speeding through a construction zone near Bozeman, Montana. Officers smelled the marijuana as they were approaching the van and after a search, found 6 duffel bags (about 250 pounds) of marijuana in the vehicle.

Ma faces a mandatory minimum of 5 years in federal prison at her sentencing in March 2013.
