Jackson Roland Westermeyer pleaded guilty to 1 count of meeting a minor to commit a lewd act, 5 counts of possession or control of child pornography and 1 count of extortion. All felonies, Westermeyer faced up to 10 years in prison before taking a plea that will sentence him to 180 days in county jail and registration as a sex offender.

Westermeyer used various social media sites to lure underage boys with explicit photos, Huntington Beach police reported when he was arrested in January 2014. The victims were 11 to 13 years old, Deputy District Attorney Keith Burke said.

Westermeyer also threatened to tag lewd photos of victims on other social media outlets if they did not send him more photos, police said.
