LAPD Officer Arrested for Criminal Threat in San Clemente

Posted by Courtney Pilchman | Sep 28, 2012 | 0 Comments

A Los Angeles police officer was arrested by LAPD when he showed up for work after a woman he had a relationship reported he made a violent criminal threat in violation of Penal Code Section 422. The officer is currently in Orange County Jail on $1 million bail.

The officer, Dale Ziesmer, 48 pleaded not guilty on September 27, 2012. Deputy District Attorney Heidi Garrel of the Domestic Violence Unit is prosecuting the case. If convicted, Ziesmer could face a strike and up to 3 years in state prison. In addition, he will lose his ability to own or possess a firearm which could mean an end to his law enforcement career.

Ziesmer should hire an experienced Orange County Criminal Defense Attorney to assist in his criminal defense. Our office has highly experienced criminal defense attorneys available to handle all types of Orange County domestic violence cases.
