Tustin Police Officer Shoots Man

A Tustin police officer shot a man after responding to a disturbance call. Officers arrived at the 14400 block of Newport Avenue around 1:45 p.m. reference a family disturbance. A man allegedly involved in the disturbance was said to have approached the officer for an unknown reason and was shot.

The victim of the police shooting was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated for what has been described as non-life threatening injuries. The case is currently being reviewed by the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
