Posted by Courtney Pilchman | Jun 21, 2012 | 0 Comments

Courtney Pilchman successfully defended a fireman from allegations of domestic violence. The jurors deliberated for twenty minutes before returning their not guilty verdict. The trial lasted seven days and consisted of a number of witnesses including a prosecution medical expert.

The client, a fireman was accused by his soon to be ex-wife of choking her after an argument regarding when she was going to move out of the home. The wife called 911 and officers arrived within 2 minutes. Officers took photographs of the wife's neck which showed no sign of trauma or injury.

The client always maintained his innocence and denied ever touching his wife. Fortunately, the defense was able to establish the wife was setting him up to be removed from the home, was a liar and manipulator. In addition, his career as a fireman was in jeopardy if he were to be convicted.

Good luck to our client, he deserves his name to be fully cleared!
