Anaheim Man Gets Life for Home-Invasion Sexual Assault

Dexter Villanueva, 46 of Anaheim was convicted of burglary, assault with intent to commit a sexual offense, sexual assault and criminal threats after he sneaked into his neighbor's home while she was watching tv and sexually assaulted her at knifepoint.

Villanueva was sentenced to 35-years-to life in prison for the attack. The victim, 59 was home alone because her husband was out of town on a business trip. She states she was watching “Law & Order” when Villanueva entered through an unlocked back door wearing a cloth over his face. According to the victim, he spent an hour assaulting her as she pleaded for mercy.
