Orange County, California resident Rachel Hicks, 36 has been arrested by Orange County Sheriff's for suspicion of having sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old boy. Hicks and the minor met in Maryland after becoming friends online playing X-Box Live.

The relationship allegedly started with online gaming then led to phone calls, a face-to-face meeting and a sexual encounter. According to Orange County Sheriff's spokesmen Jim Amorimino, Hicks is a married mother of three and drove to Maryland after visiting family in Florida over the holidays. While in Maryland, Hicks and the boy allegedly had sexual intercourse.

As is typical in cases like this, the boy's parents found “romantic” messages from Hicks on his cell phone and he admitted the relationship. Because Hicks had used a fake name, law enforcement officer used the assistance of ICE to determine her true identity. Hicks has also admitted to having a relationship with at least one other underage boy in California, Amormino said.
