Cost Mesa Police Officer Charged with Misdemeanor

Aaron Parsons, of Costa Mesa was charged with one misdemeanor count of unlawful use of an electronic tracking device. Parsons, a police officer for the city of Costa Mesa allegedly placed a GPS tracking device inside a vehicle owned by a woman he had a prior relationship with.

The victim became suspicious after several run-ins with Parsons. She checked her car and found the device which is property of Costa Mesa Police Department.
