Posted by Courtney Pilchman | Jun 09, 2009 | 0 Comments

Ladera Ranch, a small family community in South Orange County has had their share of newsworthy criminal prosecutions lately. First, Nanette Packard and now Mark Jarosik. Jarosik was re-arrested yesterday after he returned to his ex-girlfriends home and allegedly beat her about the head. This was the second attack between Jarosik and his ex-girlfriend within the last month.

Jarosik, originally from Chicago left his family and came to Orange County to be with the unknown woman. Several weeks ago, the woman was sexually attacked and prosecutors charged Jarosik for this attack which included charges of rape and attempted sodomy. Jarosik was bailed out by his family on $100,000 bond Friday, June 5th and returned to the Ladera community on Monday, June 8th when the second attack took place.

Jarosik is being held without bail in the Orange County jail.
