Riverside
Riverside is the largest city in Riverside County with an estimated population of over 310,000 residents. Riverside is home to the University of California at Riverside, Mission Inn and several religious based organizations. Riverside is also plagued by a significant gang problem and has implemented anti-gang programs throughout the city.
Riverside, being the largest city in the county is also the city where the biggest criminal, civil and juvenile courts are located. Riverside is also home to a US Federal Court. Being charged with a crime in Riverside is a very serious situation. Riverside DA Rod Pacheco has taken the approach not negotiate criminal cases. This leaves the judges with too many cases to handle and a need to "undercut" DA offers. If this doesn't work, most criminal cases are forced to go to trial if the terms of the negotiated plea are unacceptable.
Our criminal defense attorneys have handled thousands of cases from simple misdemeanors to complex felonies such as workers compensation fraud. We can negotiate your case, file much need motions and if need be, conduct any criminal trial.
