Chino

Chino is a city with the county limits of San Bernardino. Originally a major player in dairy farming, Chino has been slowly moving away from agriculture to more business and new home construction. Chino is home to several state prisons including California Institute for Men at Chino, California Institute for Women at Chino and Heman G. Stark Correctional Facility for youth offenders. The population of Chino as of 2009 rested at 82,000 and the city was awarded the "100 Best Communities for Youth in 2008.

Chino has a criminal court building handling misdemeanor and felony cases. While working as San Bernardino County Deputy District Attorneys both Anita A. Kay and Courtney E.
